I haven't written this blog in a long time, but its time for a change so I am going back.
In an early game Sunday the New England Patriots will host the Jacksonville Jaguars for the AFC Championship. Is Tom Brady really hurt, it sounds like it but the Patriots keep it close to the best to the best with injuries, he'll play. Brady and Belichick are undercover geniuses. The Jaguars can keep this one close if they 1) play defense, 2) establish the run and 3) don't give up the big play. Tom Coughlin is with this team now but he's not the head coach and Bortles is not Manning. Bortles will not win a shootout with Brady and I think that when it comes to the fourth quarter of this game Jacksonville is ready. I think the Jaguars will be able to keep this close but I am picking the Patriots (-7.5). Patriots 30-Jaguars 18
Later in the day the Philadelphia Eagles host the Minnesota Vikings for the NFC crown. Two good defences. We have two back up quarterbacks in this game who are somewhat surprising. Minnesota got somewhat lucky with a big play to win last week in which the Saints Safety fell down. The Eagles feed off the home crowd in a game in which Atlanta wasted their talent again. In what will be a low scoring game Philly will once agin feed of their crowd but I like Case Keenum and Minnesota a little better. I'll take Minnesota (-3) as road favorites in Philadelphia. Minnesota Vikings 18- Philadelphia Eagles 13
