Life without MO, Sandman

Well last night we were forced to realize the enviable, which we were hoping to be able to put off for a couple month or a couple years.  As Yankee fans we will now have to learn, sooner than we were hoping what life will be like without a shutdown closer at the end of games.  Mariano Rivera who's going to work to comeback, saying it can't end like this", tore his ACL shagging fly balls in the outfield before last nights game, is out for at least 6 months and probably more.  David Robertson who was probably the air apparent to Mo, will have to step right up and be thrown into the fire.  Rafael Soriano who has been a closer before and Robertson, will now be seen at the end of games.  For the last 17+ years, as Yankee fans we've seen leads going into the ninth inning tuning into wins. (about 99.9% of the time)  Having a lead in the ninth inning meant it was time for "Enter Sandman", for the foreseeable feature it will be someone else's entrance song.  it is a totally different animal pitching the ninth inning, Robertson will have to show us his stuff at the end of games now.
